Laughter at the expense of others...

Go Elf Yourself!

The popular OfficeMax holiday micro site, Elf Yourself, is back. Apparently bored, my coworker made this starring yours truly and a couple of other coworkers. Check it out.

Found Object

I found this Polaroid in the street while walking my dog in my old Houston neighborhood. I think the date on the calendar in the background reads 1975. Could be 1972. Either way, it's an awesome find.

Reading Tea Leaves and Campaign Logos

Witness the power of design and people's need to overanalyse it, especially when it comes to politics. Click here.

Weird Print Campaign

I'm not sure what to say about these.

Let's meet our first contestant on a show I like to call, "What was the budget on that?"

Air Force Test

The object of the game is to move the red block around without getting hit by the blue blocks or touching the black walls.

Supposedly, the Air Force uses this for fighter pilots. They are expected to go for at least 2 minutes. That may not be true, but it's kinda fun.

Travis Louie

New York artist Travis Louse specializes in sepia-toned monster portraits. His work makes me imagine aliens landed in 1862 and assimilated themselves into our culture. Each of his paintings pop up in a lightbox with a story about the character(s). Check out his site.

Morning Breath

Morning breath has never smelt, or looked, better. Great illustration and design. Check it.

It's a bird, a plane, a flying butt?

Obama on Saturday Night Live

Well, I guess we know who the cast of SNL supports.

I think they did a great job of framing the Democratic candidates and Hillary. I hope this is the start of something for Obama.
