submarinechannel.com

My friend Dean pointed me to submarinechannel.com. It's a European website that claims to gather "the most stylish, offbeat, original and arresting artworks for the net into one place." The video content is pretty cool, except the site is hard to navigate. So here are some helpful links to get you going:

Music videos - Lots of well-known and obscure content. One of my favorite is a PS2 promo called, "The History of Gaming" (it's filed under "P" for "Playstation."

Forget the film, watch the titles - A great resource to view animated film titles

Submarine TV
- A random mix of videos

David Callow

I really like this British illustrator's style - bright cut paper and super detailed pencil. Not so sure about some of the compositions.

Aesthetic Apparatus

A small design firm in Minneapolis, Aesthetic Apparatus is the purveyor of printed show posters and "DOOMDRIPS." Doomdrips? I don't get it either, but I like it.

LIE-INS AND TIGERS

Three British dudes and a website. This is the online home of Samuel Kerr, Walter Newton, and Russell Weekes (illustrators/animators). There's a lot to explore here.
